Small Actions Studio, an agency based in Quincy, Massachusetts, was founded on a simple principle: meaningful change doesn’t come from grand gestures, it comes from small, intentional actions done consistently well. That’s the core tenet of our philosophy, guiding every site we build, every word we write, and every partnership we grow.

About me
James Lau is the founder and principal of Small Actions Studio. With over a decade of experience in web design and development, James has provides his own expertise in crafting compelling user interfaces and elevating user experiences by blending his background in graphic design with innovative development practices.
When he’s not being a robot by day, James spends his time being human. He’s also a Cub Scout leader for his son’s local Pack 42 group, Boston WordPress Meetup organizer, and enjoys watching movies, playing board games, video games, and cooking recipes from old cookbooks dug up from local yard sales.
