The Anthony Phoenix Branca Foundation was established by Demetrius Branca following the tragic loss of his son in a car accident caused by a distracted driver. For the past decade, Demetrius has been advocating for legislative changes to Florida’s driving regulations, working to strengthen accountability measures for distracted driving. His mission centers on enacting comprehensive laws that impose meaningful penalties for device use and inattentive driving behind the wheel.
Memorial Timeline
One of the most significant features from the previous website was an interactive timeline chronicling Anthony Branca’s life from birth to his passing. This timeline highlighted his achievements while capturing the warmth and compassion he showed to everyone around him.
Small Actions Studio recognized that the existing timeline code was outdated and no longer supported by its original developer. The team was tasked with finding a cost-effective alternative solution that would deliver rich interactivity across both desktop and mobile devices.
Enhanced Donation Experience
As the foundation expanded its outreach efforts, the organization recognized the need to enhance its fundraising capabilities and donor engagement. The original donation feature lacked prominence and accessibility. Additionally, the call-to-action redirected users to an external pop-up window, creating a disjointed experience that undermined donor confidence and trust.
Industry best practices emphasize a seamless, secure environment. We implemented an integrated donation gateway that enables supporters to contribute directly through the website using cost-effective plugin software, ensuring a trustworthy experience that maximizes donor conversion and retention.
