The company was founded in 1999 in response to a critical need for behavioral health services within the New Jersey Department of Corrections, recognizing a significant gap in mental health support for incarcerated individuals.
CFG Health eventually evolved their medical service offerings in 2003 by embracing telehealth services, utilizing technology to enhance accessibility and efficiency in delivering care to incarcerated persons. Through this early adoption, the company demonstrated a commitment to improving healthcare access within secure facilities.
After two decades of technological commitment, CFG Health decided it was time to pivot again with a modernized brand. This strategic rebrand represented more than a visual refresh—it marked a deliberate repositioning to articulate CFG Health’s maturity as an organization that would better communicate their evolution from a specialized behavioral health provider to a full-spectrum healthcare partner.
